I have to write a Christmas letter from my boss to all staff and I'd like to say something a bit more original than thanks for all your hard work, have a good rest and be ready to work even harder next year...

So what would you like your boss to say to you?

Thank you all so much for all of the hard work that you have put in. I sincerely appreciate how much time and effort you have put into making the company/office run as smoothly as it has this past year. I'd like to thank in particular for making sure that the coffe area stayed clean, and for always feeding that annoying copy machine whenever it was hungry for more paper.

Just a short sample...keep the letter shortish and to the point. If you can, give a section of it over to thanking each employee for something in particular that they have done to make the office a better place to work.

Good luck!

In sincere appreciation for the hard work and dedication you showed last year, I'd like you to have this year off, with full pay, so that you can feel justly rewarded!

... oh and by the way, have this €50000 bonus on me as well!
