Cuba is a great place for a holiday; and if you visit Cuba try to go to Santiago De Cuba(very nice historic city),Baymo (the nature around the city and mountains is amazing) The best beach is Guardalavaca and you can meet up with many tourists over there.

Me and my husband are traveling this 27 of Dicember to visit his family in Bayamo, Cuba. Its a beautiful country with lots to do, but be aware of the most beautiful areas are restricted to tourist and you will not see many locals unless your willing to lose a little luxery. I was there 3 years ago and had a great time being around the locals and partying around the area. Its a bit difficult for US citizens to travel there you would need to take out visas and get premision from the US treasury but I'm sure a good travel agent can book you through other areas to by pass that if your not in the US. You can research hotels in Cuba and most have great service and offer packages for many aquatic and other entertainment.

Varadero is a good place to start in Cuba. You can go on a catamaran cruise, swim with dolphins in the ocean, have lunch on a deserted island. Or go on an all day jeep tour and see lots of the country side and swim in the Saturno Cave, go on a Canimar River Cruise, visit a "touristy" Cuban farm and ride on a bull, hold a snake, go on a boat ride, have lunch, etc. Shopping in the market in Varadero is also fun. Another nice thing would to do would be having lunch in Josone Park, The park is pretty and you can hold Parrots, go on a camel ride and take lots of pictures. In the evenings go to one of the clubs for dancing. Varadero is great....lots to do....you can even take a day tour to Havana.

Hello! Hola ! Well, it depends what you are looking for. If you search beach holiday, go to Varadero beaches, there are a lot of offers. If you want to visit Havana (La Habana), there are much more things to do. There, I would prefer to live in Vedado, in one of the casas particulares (www.cubacasas.net i.e), to live in the houses of private families and not only to see hotels. But anyway, the hotels are very good, with swimming pools, good latin music, all comfort. And you can rent a car and to trips to Valle de Viñales (great natural parc !), see tobaco productions in Pinar del Rio, go to see Santiago de Cuba... But you have to know, that it's also a poor country and there are a lot of economic differences. If you know about this, if you like mealtings pot's of cultures and if you like to know other cultures, without any prejudices, go to Cuba, for the music, for its people, for its love of life, for the culture, for its destiny and also to know more about the Cuban dream of another world - which unfortunately is not true, but it was a dream at least...

Cuba is an awesome place for a vacation. That's where my husband and ùI went on our honeymoon. If you're looking to relax, go to the Melia on Cayo Santa Maria. BEAUTIFUL!

There were many things to do there, but the only excursion my husband and I went on was the all day catamaran trip where you can snorkel, and see shipwrecks and we had lunch on a virgin island.

Other things you can do there: rent mopeds, jeeps, vans, dance lessons, spanish lessons, swimming with dolphins, jet skiing, etc. etc. Something for everybody

Go to Jamaica instead. :) Seriously I hear Cuba is alright but don't expect to see any fast food places though.
