Depending where I found it. If there was no way of returning it to it's rightfull owner, I would make myself an amazing ring!!!

Depends on where I found it at. If it is someplace where the owner could be found, I would try and find the owner... Cause I would want someone to do the same for me. But if it was a situation where there is no way to know who really lost it, then I would probably have myself a new ring!

Well honesty is the best policy but what about finders keepers losers weepers? No, seriously, I think that you should probably place an ad on Craigslist for your area giving minimal description of the ring and allow people to email you in regards to detailing the ring and if they claim then great! If not, after a certain ammount of time then I think it is yours!!

after my act of greed and wanting to keep it was over, I would go to the local news station with an officer so I can do it right and make a publc announcement who knows what kind of reward is being offered.
