I am writing a story for the yearbook. Our theme is unlocking the combination. Does anyone have any good ideas for our senior story. It should encompass the theme and talk about the past and future.
Heres how i have started
2-00-7: a combination that the Class of 2007 has been trying to unlock for the past four years of high school. We have cracked the code to our future that leads every one of us in different paths of success.

each part of the 2-00-7 combination stands for hard work, ethics, and faith...i related each to a school activity or course, and i integrated the part about new codes in the first paragraph.

I understand your idea, but offer this. If you are unlocking your future and if history repeats itself are you unlocking the present?
Or are you just looking to the future with your past selves?
And if you are doing that then why not do a time capsule and see what your future combination unlocks. Bury it on school property. And then in so many years go back and see what's in there. We had everyone write something or put something in there. It's a kinda neat way to see what your future combination will unlock.

Sweet heart you won't be in the yearbook now no matter what. Be honest. People dig them self deeper and deeper with no way out.Sorry you got left out of the book do the honorable thing. You decide it is your conscious you have to live with.You know you won't get a refund either.There is no proof of receipt.

However the future reveals new codes that we must uncover: college, marriage, families, and careers. It is our hope that the skills we learned at (insert high school) will give us the ability to decipher these combinations that lay in our future.
