I would think the toughest job in the world would be the Presidency. I don't think I have to explain why...just look at how much they age in 4 years...very, very stressful. Then as for more normal jobs, I think everyone should have to work retail or fast food at some point in their life because those are some of the toughest jobs there are...dealing with people every day.

I thnk that the toughest job in TODAY'S world(not before) is being a school teacher... My education (All of it) has been associated with teaching but I WOULD NEVER go into teaching with the type of students going to school today and the crappy curriculum that the United States is forcing onto the students, i.e. sex education, facts on morality, Morality in the business world, etc.. instead of Reading, Writing, Arithmatic

being a doctor or a surgeon, particularly an ER surgeon! Human lives are hanging in t he balance every time you hold a scapel, its just insane to think you have that much power! Can you imagine the guilt of loosing someone? It would be hard not to become attached and feel guilt. Thats why its the hardest!

How does money have any relevance to how tough a job is? I would say a surgeon or a firefighter...

Sewer cleaners, they find dead people and animals down there, for not much money in cold dark smelly areas.
