I got it pierced 5 days ago and they did it wrong, it's too deep and too high so i'm definately going to let it close but i want to get it done again, so I was wondering approximately how long it will take for the piercing to close and heal so it can be re-done.. and will it leave a really bad scar even though it's only been in for 5 days..?

You should probably keep what you got. If you let it close (if it will close) then you will have scar tissue in that area and it will probably hurt twice as bad when you try to get it repierced. Don't put hydrogen peroxide on it! I made that mistake and mine dried up and split apart - I now have these 2 tiny little stubs. YUCK!!
maybe just try different jewelry in the piercing you already have - they make all different types!

Since its new, if you take it out now, it should close and be ready to re pierce in about 6 weeks. You will want to wait to make sure the inside heals as well as the outside.

Its only been 5 days, so at most you should only see a tiny white dot for a scar. Keep in mind that if you get it re pierced, the scar tissue will make it harder to do and the piercing might be more painful. Another issue with scar tissue is that the thickness of the tissue can sometimes make piercings migrate or reject or even heal in a crooked position. Care will have to be take by the piercer to make sure this doesn't happen and you will want to take really good care of your piercing.

How long it takes for it to close depends on the person and how fast your body heals...I've seen some close in a couple of weeks and I've seen some close in a few days. just depends on your body. but as far as scarring, it shouldnt leave a bad scar at all. at first you will see it but once given time, it'll fade and you won't see too much of it or any at all.

It might take you a couple days to a month for it to close. When you first get it done it takes an hour to begin closing. It may be rejecting because of the type of jewelry. You may be allergic to whatever the material of the ring is.
