contacts that are longer wearing are more porous allowing for more oxygen to reach your iris. More oxygen, the longer you can wear the lenses before they dry out and become uncomfortable and unsafe to wear.

Each should be worn as directed to prevent infection, disease, blindness or loss of eyes, i.e. two week contacts should be worn up to two weeks, and 1 year contacts can be worn up to one year.

The two week contacts are disposable because they should be thrown away after use. The one year contacts are more durable, thus they can be worn for such a long period of time before needing to be replaced.

So if I were you, 'Eye' would definitely read the box first, and if you can't read without your contacts and don't have a back up pair of glasses, ask an adult for assistance!
