You have to admit that it's no longer all-encompassing !! Sure it exists in pockets of society, but don't forget now there's 'new' racial discrimination of caucasians, that did not exist before all the wrong approaches and 'solutions' were literally forced down everyone's throats !!
I believe 'Affirmative Action' and Poor Minority Leadership(and supporters of the leadership) are the biggest road-blocks to Equality . As much as I despise the U.N., I still support the U.S. presence . I know that we can't change it from the outside looking in !! Well minorities would help themselves if they stopped creating 'seperate' groups for EVERYTHING too !!
I had the 'opportunity' to grow up in a mixed-neighborhood, in Chicago . I witnessed, first-hand, the riots and turmoil of the 60' and 70's . I also witnessed a HUGE change in the late 80's and through the 90's !! A change that was impossible to see coming. People are far more accepting of each other now !!
Ya can't have racist fools representing the minority community, but they do !! And that does nothing to help and a ton to hurt the cause for Equality !!!!

Yes they believe that there is discrimination. But they see both side of the situation.
Why is it that an African American child who gets good grades is looked down upon by other African American children? Why is it that when an African American man is offended by another when called the "n" word, he called an uncle Tom?
Conservatives see racism from within a group as well as externally. That is way their "programs" focus on building up every individual. It is a good focus it is just too bad most of their programs stink.

Race and ethnic discrimination in the USA is well and alive. I will not tell you if I am a conservative or liberal, you decide. It occurs in all races, whether Caucasian, Afro American, Mexican or the numerous other ethnic cultures in the USA. Racism occurs within the races as well as between the races.

Check out this website. You might find it interesting. It's the Muslim program for black Americans.
We do not believe that after 400 years of free or nearly free labor, sweat and blood, which has helped America become rich and powerful, so many thousands of black people should have to subsist on relief or charity or live in poor houses.
8. We want the government of the United States to exempt our people from ALL taxation as long as we are deprived of equal justice under the laws of the land.
9. We want equal education--but separate schools up to 16 for boys and 18 for girls on the condition that the girls be sent to women's colleges and universities. We want all black children educated, taught and trained by their own teachers.
Under such schooling system we believe we will make a better nation of people. The United States government should provide, free, all necessary text books and equipment, schools and college buildings. The Muslim teachers shall be left free to teach and train their people in the way of righteousness, decency and self respect.
10. We believe that intermarriage or race mixing should be prohibited. We want the religion of Islam taught without hinderance or suppression.

I am a conservative and I know that race discrimination exists. It exists both ways. It's human nature, unfortunately. But in the political world, the US has bent over backwards to make things fair for minorities. Discrimination does not exist to the degree that it did 30 or 40 years ago. I also don't think that Democrats should try to keep minorities down just so they can get votes. It's very common for Democrats to create victims for their own benefit. I think minorities should be encouraged to make a good life for themselves.

Conservatives admit that it exists. They just disagree with the asinine "solutions" like hate crime legislation (i.e., thought control), affirmative action (discrimination with nice intentions), quotas (unconstitutional), etc.
Race relations in 2006 are not nearly what they were in 1946. Fortunately things have improved.

No we don't believe that, since we know it's the White Man and Women who is discriminated against. It's the Liberals who haven't figured it out.

no
Reverand jesse Lee Peterson (a black) says whites are getting fed up with be discriminated against, and how the blacks can be racist, and whites can not.
I know there is, I have experienced it, but why are handouts used as making up for it? That just promotes more racial discrimination

There are some believing there is one race only - the white race. Anything else doesn't count for them.
Of course there is racism in US, against non whites, against women, and against other "minorities". Hopefully one day they will be on the other side and will understand the meaning of discrimination.

With Democrats tellingminorities they are worthless unless they have a government handout, of course we know racism is alive and well, but 99% of it is in the Democratic Party.
Destruction of the black family, mission accomplished.
Parents not allowed to discipline their kids, mission accomplished.
Out of wedlocks kids rising higher every year, mission accomplished.
Millions of viable little children having their brains sucked out cause some ho decided it would mess up her partying schedule and her boyfriend still won't marry her, mission accomplished.
