I went for my 37 wk check up and she told me I am 1cm dilated and 60% effaced. I know I can stay this way for quite some time. However since she did my check yesterday I have been bleeding (which she said woul happen) and I have been feeling really bloated and a little crampy. Does this normally happen after a check up. It's been just over 24 hours.

For me, this happened all the time (late in my pregnancies) -- you will feel some braxton hicks contractions, too, more than likely. Try to put your feet up, because it sounds like baby time will be here soon!
Bleeding is VERY normal after internal exams at 37 weeks - don't worry.

Why did she tell you that you would start bleeding? That shouldn't happen until the birth of the baby. Are you sure that it's not labor pains instead. You only have 3 wks left to go maybe your baby is going to come early. I would go back to the doctor and see what's happening.
