It is The Rock. He is been in a lot of movies and is a rising actor. He is so big in acting that he does not wrestle any more. I wish his acting career would stall that way he would come back to wrestling.

None of the above.

In my opinion, Roddy Piper was the best pro wrestler turned actor in movies.

He was teriffic in the John Carpenter move "They Live" and was very good in "Hell Comes To Frogtown", as well as several other cult films.

The Rock is a decent actor too, and played very good roles in The Rundown and Walking Tall, but my favorite is still Piper.

Hulk Hogan was a horrible actor, though I do have fond memories of Suburban Commando from my childhood.

Tony Lister (Aka Zeus) is a pretty decent character actor, but he's not really a wrestler. He did two short stints as Zeus in WWF and The Z-Man/Z-Gangsta in WCW, but he's not really a wrestler.

Andre was teriffic in The Princess Bride, but that was pretty much the only acting he had ever done. It's a shame, because he could have had a fine career in films had he not passed away.

I've only ever saw Captain Lou in the Cyndi Lauper video and the Super Mario Brothers cartoon for the live action segment. Not bad, but he's not really an actor outside of wrestling.

King Kong Bundy had a very funny cameo in the Richard Pryor movie "Moving" and was funny in his guest spots on Married With Children, but that's about all he has done. He could be a teriffic comic actor if given the chance.

Mick Foley hasn't done much acting, but he was funny in Big Money Hustlas (the ICP movie) and in a guest appearance on G vs E, but both roles involved wrestling. Same for Terry Funk in Quantum Leap.

Haven't seen The Marine, so I can't judge Cena as an actor. He almost has to be a better actor than a pro wrestler. I'm not sure he could be any worse.

Good question...

I would say Zeus, but he was never really a wrestler.

Other than that Hogan made some great films, Rock, unlike Piper, is good cause he can do more than one role. Nash was good for the small parts that he played, but not star material. I did not even know that he was the Super Shredder in Ninja Turtles until I took the time to read the credits.

All of those men were in the movies, but others were:
the 'rocks' father ...rocky johnson and his grandfather Peter Maivia;
I ren around with these guys in the 50-70s and Ray Stevens, Pepper Martin, Jay York, Rod Piper w/Hulk Hogan, and don't forget the still great stuntman and wrestler Gene LeBell.
My buddy Rocky Montero did some hawaiian films w/elvis and Andre was great b4 his death.

thot of another...Lord Blairs in hawaiian movies and tv (hawaii 50)series

If you are looking for action, then the best would be, The Rock. If you want humor then I'd have to say, Hulk Hogan. Although I think John Cenas' movie The Marine, is going to be a good one too.

Hands down the rock.
He's the only wrestler to ever be taken seriously by anyone for any movie.

Also he picks sucessful movies to be in.
Actually, every movie the rock has been in has been #1 in the box office. every one.
Crazy, huh?
