I never knew my son had a girlfriend until he was 19. He had friends that were girls, and had a guy friends also. When he decided to get serious he found the right one and married her. He is now 24 and very happy. He told me he was just shy around. Just don't worry. Just be happy is happy.

I have a 16 year old daughter who has just now started being interested in boys, although she still hasn't dated one or had a boyfriend. My son is 15, he's interested (blushes furiously when you ask him about it), but he's never dated or had a girlfriend and hasn't shown an interest in doing so yet. Don't push the issue. When he's ready he'll date. He may be shy around girls, who knows. Be glad he's waiting. You don't want your kids growing up too soon.

Worried about what? Are you afraid he's gay? Just love him the same if he is. It's no big deal and he can't help it. It may be he just isn't ready for all the dating crap yet. A person doesn't HAVE to be with someone to have a happy fufilling life! Just love him as much as you can, he'll be alright.

Theres nothing wrong with him he just hasn't found anyone yet and just because hes never had a girlfriend doesn't mean he's gay, don't worry about it Im pretty sure if he does get one he will tell you

It sounds like he's probably not pregnant.
Seriously, though, you should only worry that maybe he's afraid you're going to judge him so he's hiding some part of his life from you.
You don't say this, but it sounds like you are afraid he might be gay. If you are "afraid" of that and think it's a bad thing, believe me, your son knows it. If he is, then he's afraid of letting you know.

no. I never had a boyfriend until i was 18, I am just extremely shy. if he needed help or wanted to talk he will find time and bring it up. Ya dont want it to be to weird and uncomfortable unless you have an open relationship, but i never really talked about lack of boys to my mom untill i had boyfriends then i became more open.

I am a 19 year old girl and I have never had or wanted a BF, I have nothing agaist guys, and am not lesbian. I am just not interested in a relationship atm *shrugs*

Why should you be worried, there is plenty of time for him to find someone and he should enjoy his youth. He may even be playing the field....or is the issue that are you worried they are gay ?.
