I'd find a red envelope taped to my cars steering wheel one morning in December. . .a day when the snow was falling and there was a chill. . .but, my car would already be warm as the person who taped the envelope there would have already started it for me so I could drive to work cozy and warm.
Inside this red envelope there would be a "formal" invite to a candlelit dinner for two at a resteraunt overlooking the water, or the city, or both. . .to celebrate the evening of December 23rd. . .
and the request of my company for the rest of the evening. After dinner. . .a "sleigh" ride through a beautiful park where I would be handed a little blue and white box. . .inside would be a question. . .a question that I would joyfully say yes to.
