I took a test last night and there was a very faint line next to it..I was barely able to see it so Im not sure if this is a positive or if im seeing things..I had token one 2 weeks ago & the same thing happen...my period is do this saturday..is it too early to be taking it or should I wait a bit longer?

Home pregnancy tests look for the presence of a hormone your body only makes when you are pregnant.
False negatives happen when the hormone level is too low to be detected. False positives are VERY rare.
A little line means a little hormone means that yes, you are pregnant. Congratulations!

it could be a bit early but false positives are very rare. A line, no matter how faint, is still a line. therefor positive. I would take a test again on saturday when your HCG levels should be higher and you should get a darker line by then. If its still the same go to the doctor after youve missed your period and get a blood test and it will say for sure.

I personally would say congrats. BUT maybe wait it out for a few days longer and test again. If after a week from Saturday the line doesn't get darker, you should call your ob to confirm. Good luck and I hope it is what you were hoping for!

My opinion, if you took the test and read the results within the time the box says most likely it is a positive. If however you are unsure I would wait 2 more days and test with first morning's urine.

you probably want to wait until you miss your period this Saturday hen take another pregnancy test if not just go to your Dr and take a blood test more accurate. If you are congrats and Good Luck.

Well assuming your trying to get pregnant, its too early.
But When you are pregnant, the line will be very obvious.
Go get some tests at the dollar store , this way they are cheap and you can take them when ever you want to.
they work just as well as the more expense ones.
And if your not wanting to get pregnant, rest assured because it was a negative result.

Well, normally, I would say "Yes! Congratulations!" but you say this happened 2 weeks ago which is actually impossible (for you would just be concieving two weeks ago). I'm not sure I trust your pregnancy test brand name.

use the first responce test and you should be able to get a good result. but if you see a line in then it sounds to me that you are. wait till thursday and test again. good luck.

If you saw a slight line next to the other one than from what I know you are pregnant.

usually they say if there is any presence of a line that is a posative pregnancy but i wait until after you are supposed to start and then take another one!
