How about offering terminals for uploading onto ipod etc

Get to listen first, then download tracks you want at lower cost that buying CD / DVD.

No personal worries about copyright , virus , spam

Might need marketing well.

Because some people still enjoy browsing physical racks of media, and want to own something physical.
Also MP3 although its good, its not that good. So the typical sample rate offered on the internet is not hifi quality.
