I don't really know Brasil because it is such a fast country and with so many differences. I lived in Rio for a while so I know Rio. The most beautiful city in the world. Yes, it is dirty and polluted and dangerous but it has this certain beat to it. Once you have been infected by it it won't let you go. Don't get me wrong it is not an easy place to live in. The things you have you need to work for very hard and poverty is all around you. But then Flamengo beats Vasco and the world is all better again. Or you simply get to spend a day on the beach and look at all the beautiful people. Or you step on a bus which is crowded but you get a good look at everybody who makes up Rio de Janeiro.
Brasil is great because its people are fantastic...I wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all better for this great country. But I have every confidence that they will make it...and that Brasil will win the next Football Championship:)

I married a Brasilian so I gess I would be a bit biased. Brasil is a beautiful country, but here are a few gripes:
1: You should have a decent train service linking all of the State Capitals. For the poor in Brasil travel is extrememly difficult.
2: There is far too much Bureaucracy everywhere, you need to cut red tape.
3: Tourism would bring millions in revenue to Brasil. You should play on that. It's starting to happen now, but far too slowly.
These are a few things that could be changed to make Brasil the tropical paradise it deserves to be.
I still believe that Brasil could be the country of the future.

Rio is ‘love at first sight’.
Probably the most beautiful city in the world.
Ipanema beach is fantastatic.
The people are fantastic too! Hard working but always ready for a good time! The ladies keep fit! They work hard at it!
Any excuse to start dancing! Anywhere! Right now!
The food is v. good
It should be paradise on earth…
I want to go back there again!

I would like to visit there! I would love to see the rain forest.
I got an email, because I donate to wildlife conservation, and it said that Para has just added a huge section of rain forest to a preserve by Governor Jatene. Thats good news to me!

Amazing weather,landscapes, beautiful people, fun friendly-the ones i,ve met so far...I gonna go there next year for sure with my partner who is brazillian, she,s from the south !

i have friends in brasil and they say its is a great country but you must be carefull in some cities as the crime rate can be bad for visitors but further away you go the greater it becomes
