I think that this is a very close-minded and arrogant question. There is a very smart young generation. However, they are never given the opportunity to prove it and the older generations have no faith in them. People complain that exams are too easy and the younger generation is actually dumb, when in fact... because of these proposals, they make exams harder every year, and students continue to better the results of previous years before them. I would love to know where this foul opinion comes from. I find it offencive and inappropriate. I am sixteen years old and I would love for someone to point out why so many people think that the younger generation are brainless. There are many young people who are bright and have a zest for learning. Admittedly there are also the fair few unintelligent f***witts, but that is like every other generation. Don't take this the wrong way but you should get your facts right, get some literacy lessons and learn to spell :)

No more than every other generation. Buy this clue - you want to know an answer to a question involving media and yet you ask it on an internet Q&A website that allows any YAHOO to puke-up some kind of psuedo-smart reply. You are the brainwashed here.

Yes. evolution, for instance. Its a theory~ not fact. Yet they teach it as fact. There are so many proofs against it it's laughable how many people are taken in.
Here's one off the top of my head~
The moon gets farther away every year.
Which means that is used to be~~~ closer!!! (clap clap) The moon causes the tides. Millions of years ago, the moon would have been so close, that the tides would have been so high, that everything on eath would have drowned twice a day. : ) : )
That's just a quick one!
The media impresses evolution too~ talk about brainwashing!!

Not brainwashed, but fooled and herded, yes. Parents have a hand in allowing this, but are outnumbered for sure. A real live person that cares and teaches is more powerful than all of those, though, most of us are too busy in the rat race.

Not sure about the media and schools, but that "corruptament" sounds pretty suspicious. If nothing else, with a name like that, it's gotta be at least corrupt.
