About 7 - 8 i think. Thats when everyone i know found out. If they go to a public school, then as soon as one kid finds out the whole class will know and so on... they usually find out 'cos of some smart **** who knew it all. I loved the days when i believed in Santa... made Christmas so much better...

about the 7-9 range. i'm 11 and stopped believing when i was 7 or so. some of my friends say the believe but really it's just a stupid little thing they made up for the heck of it and 'cause they we're bored (we also like to believe in Friday the 13 'cause it's fun but we know it's fake too). i don't believe in any of the holiday "mascots" at all. Christmas was invented by the toy companies and Halloween was invented by the candy companies.

My daughter is almost 9 and still firmly believes.

Keeping a childs innocence as long as one can is a very good thing in this day and age.

i've always known that santa was a fake. i think i really found out when i was like 4 or something. my parent's never taught me that santa was real, so i wasn't disappointed or anything like that.

I would say by the time they are 9. My daughter is 8 and states that she will not stop believing even though her sister has. : )
