That would be governed by the frequency with which you normally text each other. The odds would be even higher if one of you did not possess a mobile phone.

According to a recent survey that was on yahoo news I read it happens very often with texting and calls as people have similar thought patterns and such from being around each other.

They basically ruled out that it is just a coincidance- kinda cool I think.

Have done it with phone calls with my husband. When 9/11 happened, we each called the other and started talking. Neither one of us heard the phone ring -- we just both finished dialing at the exact same instant and the calls connected to each other!!

what arethe odds of thinking something and your partner saying it before you in the same words you thought of it??? happens all the time with me and my bf.

Because the both of you were so intuned to each other and was thinking about each other. I called a friend and he was trying to call me but I beat him to it.
