Sometimes a high power vacuum will help. But if they are deep enough and have been there for a long time, you might just be stuck with it. Or you can always replace the padding under the carpet, but that can cost a bit more than you'll want to pay. I hope that helps!

Try a spray carpet cleaner. Spray it on the dented areas, then use a stiff brush to raise the pile, brushing across, then up and down. Let sit for about 10 to 15 minutes, or according to instructions on bottl, then vacuum. Hope it helps.

I love the ice cube trick. We had a TV on the floor for 2 years and ice got out the dents. Place the cube in the dent and let it melt completely. Then fluff with you fingers.

If you are talking about an impression made by something heavy. Try putting an ice cube in it and just leave it there. The nap will return to where it belongs. It's weird but it works.

usually you can use a spoon and scrape the rug, if it's a very deep dent, spray with warm water mixed with fabric softner then scrape it.
