You need to go to a urologist, he can do a sperm count and test to see if you have good swimmers etc... your girlfriend should go to an obgyn. Both of you should get all the tests done to see what's going on. (I also think Wal-Greens sells a sperm test, it's by the preg. and ovulation kits)

You will need to go to either a urologist or a reproductive endocrinologist. They will do a semenalysis on a sample. That SA will be able to tell you how much sperm you have (both volume and count), as well as how many of those are alive (motility) and how many are the correct shape (morphology). These are all very important, as it is pointless to have 1 million sperm if they are all dead or the wrong shape to penetrate the egg.
An RE won't see you until you've been trying unsuccessfully for a year. A urologist might be willing to help you before that. If everything comes back fine for you then it is time to get her into an RE or an OB/GYN.

Have you been trying for at least a year? Do you have reason to suspect that you are infertile (around lots of radio waves, drug use, etc.)?
If the answers to those two questions are no, then I would say to just let nature take its course. Even the most fertile two people still only have a 20% chance per month of making a baby.
Enjoy the baby-making. ;-)
But when it comes down to it, a urologist will be able to do a semen analysis, and they will be able to estimate your count, motility, morphology, and all that good stuff.

A fertility doctor...they can do a sperm count for you. You have lots of time though, you are very young!FYI for binglejells2003, a gynecologist is for women only!
I'm not trying to be mean, but by the looks of your other questions, bringing a child into an unstable environment doesn't sound like a good idea...like ex boyfriend..beatings...no transportation..

You have to wait until you have tried for a least a year. Then make an appointment with a fertility specialist and have all of the tests ran to see if you and her are able to have children. A semen anaylsis will most likely determine your ability.

You need to see a fertility specialist or you can see your urologist. Check your local yellow pages or ask family, close friends or general practioner to refer you to someone. Check out www.newbabyjubilee.com and click on male infertilty to get info on tests and symptoms for male infertility.

Fertility docs are "reprodutive endocrinologists".
Most fertility docs won't see a couple as young as you are until you've been ttc-ing for at least a year.
