Batman, he is just a man (albeit a very rich man) fighting inequalities and crime, Superman is an alien and is by definition separate and different from all of us, but we can espire to be the Bat.
Batman also has his dark side, whereas superman is a bit one dimensional and can't help being good.

Superman does have the one cool thing, flying around. I guess I would take that over anything Batman has, but I always loved Batman the most. First, I always liked that (in certain versions) Cops didn't like him and neither did the criminals. I liked how he was the rogue crimefighter. I liked that he wasn't "really" a superhero as he had no super power, just an average wealthy guy avenging the loss of his parents. Plus, its hard to beat the name Dark Knight.

Better in what sense?
Superman is the "boy scout", he's better at calming down victims of crime with his smooth talking and charm. He's also got the superpowers thing going on (which IMO does not necessarily make him better). But he tends to have a very naive and short sighted view at the world.
Batman is, and always will be, a detective at heart. It's what he does best and better than anyone. He thinks before he acts and punches. He was trained to be a tactician.
But if you meant better in the sense of who will win in a fight? It's already been documented, Batman has beaten Superman countless times before.

Although Batman has the really cool batmobile and the dynamic batcave as alter ego of Bruce Wayne, the millionaire, his little caped tricks that get him flying from building to building or that bullet proof vest limits him in saving the world.
Superman, alter ego of Clark Kent, mild mannered newspaper report, on the other hand, has a bullet proof vest and many other attributes that a super hero needs to save the world. He has x-ray vision that allows him to see crooks through buildings they might hide in. His flying abilities (without the help of rope, etc.) makes him able to leap tall buildings in a single bounce. He's more powerful than a locomotive and faster than a speeding bullet. Nothing can stop superman, except that dastardly kryptonite, which is not mined on earth, so he is relatively safe. Lead can protect him from kryptonite though.
I guess you can tell that I'm a fan of superman. :)

Batman because helloo!? have you seen the bat mobile? it's rockin. Also who wouldn't want a man that was loaded and have a secret hide away? Superman can fly and he does have super human strength but he also has a weakness called Kryptonite.

it depends... if your talking about people with super powers then it would have to be superman... because batman is just a guy with a suit who hasnt any super powers.. but he sure does get the job done. :)

Superman!Hello!He's the SUPERman.lol.Batman does look good and he didnt wear an underwear on the outside but Superman is way cooler.And its hard to kill him if there are no kryptonite in this world.
