Internet is a very useful information tool & its benefits cannot be over emphasised but at the same time it provides unrestricted pornography . The net is flooded with porno sites which are easily accessible and where the contents are not only explicit but also very offensive in nature . In addition there are friendship sites which offer sexual relationships in the garb of friendship .
Pornography is very easily available on the net & MMS enabled mobile phones , and this is ripping apart the social & moral fabric of the society . Pornography not only dehumanises women but also encourages sexual frustation , molestation & violence .The minds of the youth are continously being fed with explicit pornography & the outlet is found in teen-age sex/pregnancies , eve-teasing , molestation & rape .

Man, leave the internet alone. So many of our freedoms are and have already been taken away. Always to 'protect the children' (hogwash), or to 'keep Americans safe'.

You don't have to like pornography. Don't watch it. It cannot 'hurt' you if you don't watch it, and you don't let your children watch it.

edited to add:
For my fellow Christians, there is nothing at all Christian about restricting other peoples right to sin, as long as they are not physically harming others, stealing from them, etc.

'The minds of the youth are continuously being fed with explicit pornography...'

Um, hello? If you go onto the internet to find pornography, it's YOUR choice. The internet doesn't force-feed you pornography.

Now, I'm not saying that rape, molestation or anything like that is a good thing, but as long as all the people involved in the pornography process are ABLE and, above all, WILLING, then what's wrong? Nobody gets hurt, mentally or physically.

It is a simple matter of supply and demand. If some people (like me, I admit) are too sad to find a real relationship then demands like this are bound to arise, and I see no problem as long as nobody is hurt along the way.

And don't tell me it 'offends' people. Everything offends SOMEONE. Who said you HAD to look at pornography? It's your choice. End. Of. Story.

Pornography is not the cause of the problem, it is just an expression of repressed human emotions. The shaming of sex is the cause of porn and child molestation, sexual frustration etc. The religions actually causes these. The net can not be controlled perfectly yet. Your logic is coloured by your religious beliefs and own repressed desires, the life you did not live thinking you were doing the right thing. label something as evil and god makes it holy....and creates an insatiable drive to want that thing.... think of cursing god, the only reason people curse god is because it is said to be evil.....get the idea?

There are some flaws with your supposition.

Rape is not a crime of sex but a crime of assault. Porn can fuel problems just as easily as alcohol can fuel it and no causal link has been made between watching porn and the reactions you describe. (This smae level or argument is made against violent video games)

As to teen sex, that may be due less to porn and more to general TV (like the OC)

The nature of the Internet makes it impossible to ban porn in an effective manner. Unfortunately.

A quote I remember:

"If all the porn was taken off the internet, I'm convinced there would only be one site left, and it'd be called Bring Back the Porn."

Are you stupid? It is just the Internet moron. Plus, it is only illegal if it is child pornography. Grow the f-up. If you don't want the porn, then STFU
