I've tried everything to keep him asleep through the night but he keeps waking up. The only thing that keeps him sleeping is ibuprofen but I am afraid that this is not good to give him every night. What do I do???

Try Hyland's teething tablets - they're chamomile and very safe. Teething is tough on everyone, but I don't think you should rely on something like ibuprofen to keep him asleep.

Don't use meds to get your child to stay asleep. It will make the child not able to fall asleep on its own. Just like if you or I were to take sleeping pills all the time we would not be able to sleep with out them .Try giving the baby teething tablets. They are safe little tablets that disolve and numb the gums. and there all natural. Good luck.

You should not give your baby anything that is not prescribe by the baby's doctor try the teething ring, cool it down in the frig. the coolness seems to help. Pls stop self medicated your baby something bad might happen.

NO!

There is baby oragel available at the grocery.

Also, it would be more healthy to rub gin on his gums than to give ibuprofen.

OTC pain relievers aren't even good for adults. Even in healthy people, they can cause kidney problems, and should only be used when ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

PLease get some oragel for babies. Failing that, please get some gin. Or even let em suffer.
