My roommate and I decided on a white tree this year, and went with all jewel tones... bright pink, green, purple, and blue. The only thing we didn't plan for was with using all glass balls, the tree is still pretty plain. Go with different shapes, like balls, snowflakes, and then maybe some boxier ornaments. We have white walls, too. We went to walmart and got a pretty pink metallic fabric and tacked it from the ceiling to the floor in the corner behind the tree to make the tree stand out. Another helpful hint: Find somewhat coordinating wrapping paper and wrap your empty ornament boxes. The underside of your tree looks festive, and you don't have to scrounge for storage space!

O my goodness i have the same problem as ou. My walls are white and we bought a white tree. Anyways, what me and my friend did was bought lots of pink decorations. We got these beautiful pink ornaments and pink lights and bows. We also used silver tessil (or whatever its called). It looks gorgeous. Granted you may be living with a guy so you may not want to choose pink lol so i would go with a color you both like such as a baby blue or fieshed red. I reccomend more light or bright colors and not dark but either looks good really! I hope i helped!

I used to have a white tree & I used all blue lights with blue & silver ball ornaments the first year. Then the second year I did all red lights with red bows all over it. It looked really pretty. But now I have kids so we have a green tree with all the ornaments they made in school along with miscellaneous other ones.

I would really go with a one color theme on a white Christmas tree - probably a deep, dark blue or a bright shiny red!
Get balls, tinsel, lights, ornaments, a star, etc all in that one color or different shades of that same color.
Have fun!

You can go with white lights and colorful ornaments, coloful lights and colorful ornaments. I like the white lights with colorful ornaments personally. Also, you can go with a very nice tree skirt.
White Christmas trees are really nice with a theme color arrangement. Like silver and red ornaments with white lights. IMHO

Pick a color you really like and go to town with it - for example, red lights, red ribbons, red spire, red ornaments. Or a blue theme would be lovely, or purple. Using one color will really make it stand out, instead of using multicolors.

My moms is white and she does only blue and silver to go with her blue room...
you could try a one or two color combination that matches your decor and white lights :)

pick one color (something dark, i would suggest a dark red) use thick wired ribbon, big glass balls, no tinsle though. if you do use lights, go with the white/clear ones. but just remember to stick with one color. try to get all your decorations at the same store so they are kinda coming from the same company and such. good luck!
