What should I do? Ok my apt isn't the cleanest thing around, I get off of work too late, my kids throw everything around, and if I call for maintanance the office will come into my apt and write me another infraction and kick me out for not having a tip top apt...I want to get it fixed but right now it's getting colder and i don't have time to clean right now until the weekend...should I buy my kids an electric blanket or a floor heater...It's too dangerous for them b/c they are 4 and 2 ... Should we sleep downstairs and put on the oven? What should I do for the rest of the week?

i dont know how cold it is where you live but in GA some people do use there oven to heat by in the winter it will run up your light bill more than you think as it will be pulling off a 220 outlet but yes i would use my oven untillt he weekend and then get my apt cleand up and call for maint. even then it may take a day or two to get your heat fixed just be carefull not to let any pets or your kids get to close to the oven door as it will get hot by being open i have used my oven in my home for heat before and never had any problems except like i say a higher light bill give it a try see what happens just put like a pot of water ont he stove top to help keep the air from getting to dried out

Let's see, you could clean up and have your manager fix it, and keep warm, or you could burn the place down with a floor heater around a 2 and 4 year old, or you could put the oven on, and keep the oven door open taking oxygen from the room and submitting your children to possible burns. What do you do?

Please don't use the oven it gives off a colorless and odorless gas that can kill you and you children. The floor heater is dangerous too because the children are likely to touch it and get burned badly. For right now I would get the electric blanket and grab the Disney videos.

the oven is not the one it can kill u the eblanket is going to work as long as there in ben i buy eblanket and a floor heater u can use as long as u up and not a sleep

It may not be fixable. Most have instructions on it on how to turn it on. Check that.
