Ok ladies (and gents if there just so happens to be any). . . .Since I am shooting to start conception in May or early June so I can start prenatal vitamins early, cut down on caff, and get on a good workout schedule. If i am shooting for a particular time in March of 2008 is there a calcualtor or calendar that helps tell you when to start conception?

Good for you for wanting to treat your body right!

When you say March of 2008, you mean that's when you want your baby to be born?

In a perfect world then, you should conceive in June of 2007. But please remember that even the MOST fertile couples have only a 20% chance per month of getting pregnant. And that's WITH perfect timing and everything.

Then there's me who took 8 years and two husbands to get pregnant. What I'm getting at is there really is no PLANNING a baby. I would say though that chances are good you could get pregnant within the first six months of trying!

Good luck!

I think its awesome that you care enough to ensure that your body is healthy and ready for conception. Kudos to you!

I use a really great site called Fertility Friend (www.fertilityfriend.com). Its a great "all-in-one" site, with helpful hints on planning conception, due dates, tracking your ovulation with a very handy and colorful calendar.

I always thought that it was difficult for me to conceive (I've been trying the fun, good ol' fashioned way, ya know?) for quite some time and could never seem to nail it. With that free site, I've gotten pregnant twice! You need to set up your profile with questions about your menstruation cycle and then it plugs your "best time to conceive" and ovulation dates right in to a calendar.

I am also taking DUET DHA pre-natals. They contain a multi-vitamin + omega 3 fatty acid soft gel, and is recommended for before, during, and after pregnancy. It doesn't make me sick and constipated (a side-effect of a lot of commercial pre-natals). This pre-natal is especially good for the baby's brain.

Good Luck on your journey to Motherhood and I wish you a successful and happy pregnancy!

Are you trying to have your baby be born in march?
Thats really hard to do. It could take 1 month or 10 months to get pregnant. Theres no way to guarantee that your baby will be conceived any certain month.
But thats great that you are already thinking about getting fit and taking vitamins. Its never too early to start getting your body ready for pregnancy.

Trust me I wouldn't bother, spend your money on clothes and jewellery.....children will eat into the clothes and jewellery fund!!! Plus whenever you want to go out, it'l cost twice as much as ure factoring in babysitters!
