my voice always shakes so much. I'm very shy and get nervous when singing infront of people(hopefully i will become more confident as i get used to it). How can i stop my voice shaking so much? it stops shaking once i get into the song and become more confident.

Practice at home in front of others first. When it comes to the performance take some deep breaths before you sing and try to stay as clam as you can. If you are really scared of the examiners try to imagine them in their underwear (they're only human after all and should be used to people being nervous).
I sing every week at church but when I started out my voice was really shaky through nerves so I can appreciate how you feel - this worked for me. Good luck :)

Getting used to singing in front of people is a great plan, do some breathing and vocal warm-up exercises before you begin. My singing teacher used distraction techniques, telling me to stand on one leg so I wasn't concentrating on the song as much was very good. Don't eat chocolate before you sing, (my singing teacher could always tell if I had, by the quality of my voice).

I discovered that if I close my eyes at least at first and see in my mind a location where I sing confidently all the time, it really helps, I noticed that many professionals keep their eyes closed most of the time.

properly i used to have the means to sing alongside to all of the Beatles songs a protracted time in the past yet won't manage to particularly hit those extreme notes anymore. nonetheless submit to in innovations the words to very nearly each Beatle song and used to evaluate myself the genuine "5th" Beatle, Lol. in recent times I commonly do purely a little headbanging and play air guitar and air drums.

first you have to have a little confidence in yourself. Close your eyes and make sure your in the key that fits your voice range if not then try until you get there

try singing to family members first so you can get used to looking people in the eye.

The shaking is caused by poor breathing. (The poor breathing is caused by nerves). You should do some breathing exercises first.
