Hedgehogs are on occaision hard to come by. I suggest going to google and looking for breeders in your area - you will likely have to be put onto a waiting list. Also, check www.craisglist.org and www.petfinder.org - they always have animals that need rehomed and I sometimes see hedgehogs in your area on those. Good luck! They are fun, and prior to SOME people's misconceptions, they do thrive in the right captive environment and can be very social with their human slaves :)

Hedgehogs are an extremely stable newbie puppy... they're inexpensive and uncomplicated to look after. they're fool evidence for the main section. They dont sink or reason to lots havoc. many times quiet & very stable natured.

I looked up a website for you using my search engine and this is what I found. It is in Ohio.
www.critterconnection.cc/Animals/animals-hedgehog.html
There was another site in the UK which I didn't bother to jot down.

Make sure you do plenty of research online BEFORE you buy one. You don't want to order one online because you don't know what conditions they are kept in before they are sent to you (they could have diseases or injuries).
I'd try http://www.petfinder.org
Make sure they aren't illegal in your area though! Call your local animal control to find out.

Get a stuffed one at a toy store. They are a wild animal and do not thrive in captivity.
