TFT/LCD flast screens?

I have no idea what to get for Chistmas so my mum said 'How about a flat screen for your computer?'
I stopped and thought, that's a good idea then I don't have to pay for it!

I was talking to my computer geekie cousin and he said TFT was better than LCD. What is the difference and is he right?

Almost all LCDs use the TFT technology today. Don't worry abou the TFT, pick up a LCD you like.
