December 10th. That is how we honor our child that died.
We have a fake tree due to allergies.

Well, first off let me tell you an amazing story of our "fake" christmas tree. One hot summer morning, my husband and I went garage saleing (spelling?) and we found nothing but junk everywhere we went. Then about 12:00 noon, we came to the last house on our list and they were already tearing down. So we asked if they had anything left to sell (we were looking mainly for furniture) and they said all they needed to get rid of was random crap and this christmas tree. So we told her we werent in the market for a tree, but she kept pressing. She was moving and could not take this tree with her. So she said $10. We declined. Then she said, "$5. No free! Please take it! It's brand new and it has all its parts!" So then we said ok we will take it for $5. So we got this brand new only used once 7 1/2 ft tree and she was right. It has all its parts and was very organized and color coded.
Now, we usually start decorating on Thanksgiving after everyone is good and fat and after our nap, we start going to town. But this year we were out of town so we started about December 1st.

We have fake trees. We normally put them up the day after Thanksgiving but we were a little late this year. We finally got it all up now.

I have a fake tree, I usually put it up the day after Thanksgiving, but this year I didn't and its still not up.

I do a real tree therefore it goes up 2 weeks before christmas

I just put my tree up Sunday, 12/3. I have a small fake tree. My cats try to climb it otherwise.

I have a fake tree and I put it up on December first. If I had my way, I would put it up the first of November!!
