I just found out that we are going to have a baby. I want to make it a special announcement for him.Any ideas how I can do that? Much appreciated. Thanks.

Excuse me everyone but my boyfriend and I have not been trying to prevent pregnancy.So it will not be BAD news for him.We've been living together for 4 years now.

When I found out I was pregnant, I went home and started dinner. When my husband walked in I asked him to set the table for me. I asked him to set for 3 people instead of two. He asked who was coming for dinner and I told him, no one, but you better get used to it, you're going to setting for 3 for the next 18 years! Worked great!!

First, just be sure this is good news for HIM as well. I wouldn't want you to be all excited and have him blow up at you or run for the hills. I personally would be extremely suspicious of a long, drawn-out event that's out of the ordinary and would start questioning you hard about what's going on, it could ruin the mood you're trying to set. I would suggest telling him upfront, then take him to your romantic dinner or whatever to celebrate. Most guys don't like suspense, it can be annoying and you may inadvertently get an unwanted initial reaction.

Why don't you buy a baby bib that says " I love my daddy" and wrap it up for him, I'm just sure he'll get the message when he opens the gift.
