Yes, even though I usually don't agree with his sense of humor.
When you're arguments are built on straw instead of logic, then naturally you're going to get frustrated and eventually mad.
Conservatives like myself can have a good laugh in politics from time to time, even if it's against own own people, like when Bush said to Blair with his mic still on that Lebanon should get Syria to stop Hezbollah from doing this sh*t (starting conflicts).
We conservatives can laugh at quotes like this and Kerry's infamous quote because we know that they do no damage to our moral and political philosophical foundations, which are made of granite instead of straw.

If he truly believes that, why doesn't he ever tell any OxyContin jokes Seriously, I'm a big lib, and would find him much less repugnant if he could rip on himself maybe .5% of the time on the air. Seems that he just likes to make fun of other people. That's not humor.
That's just being mean. Every boor tells the victims of their boorish behavior they need to lighten up. Rush is a classic example. He could start with himself.

You're joking right? Let's take comedians for example the funniest ones are Liberal Chris Rock, Paul Mooney, George Carlin, Lewis Black just to name a few. The Conservatives have Dennis Miller who was funny on weekend update and that was before he became the conservative he is today. Not to mention Rush is very rarely right.

I just got some humor with the not-so-honest rant about how come there is conservatives being told what to think via radio, but since more liberal types have self-formed ideas they listen to music not talk so liberal talk is a "failure".
And the Rushies said its because there isnt a good liberal argument. That's not why! hahahaha
See,facts can be funny!

There's nothing funny about the state of our country--Laughing at Bush and republickend legislation time is over. I don't see anyone who sided with the neo-con agenda laughing now that liberal and progressive legislators are the majority. The serious business of ending this regime and tending to our own is no laughing matter. The next time I laugh is when is see the photos of Bushee's behind bars!!

That's why we have the Daily Show and Colbert Report. . .I heard FOX is planning a conservative clone of the Daily Show, so it looks like there will be a little more humor for everybody.

The thing you need to remember about Rush is that he blows everything way out of proportion, so as to push his agenda. While he may be correct in that some Liberals do need a little humor in their lives, that's not the case for all of them. Unfortunately, it's blow hards, such as Rush, that give Conservatives a bad name.

He obviously never listens to Air America. There's plenty of humor there. Of course much of the time they're making fun of him and people like him. Maybe Rush doesn't find that funny, in which case he's a prefect example of someone who can dish it out but can't take it.

It depends on the individual liberal, but liberal activists (as opposed to your average liberal voter) could usually use some humour in their lives.
