That's not ture. Mitsu's are not Honda's or Toytoa's but they are still better than most brands. The real problem with a 3000Gt or 300ZX is that most of those still out there are at least 10 years old, and many are much older than that. If you really want reliability don't look at 10 year old cars in general and 10+ year-old sports cars specifically. If your an enthusiast for the brand or the type and really want the car just buy the freakin thing already and take the good with the bad.

Can we have enough of the 3000GT questions now? I suggest if your really that interested in this car you find a Mitsubishi enthusiast discussion board to pose your questions to.

mitsubishis don't have very good reliability ratings. Nissan usually does and the non-turbo model of the 300ZX actually used the same engine from the Nissan Maxima. It's a reliable engine. The turbo model however will require more maintenance. It's turbos need to be totally rebuilt after around 100k miles.

Any vehicle of any brand that is not maintained and is driven hard and abused will eventually fail. That being said, do you think a major manufacturer of vehicles would release anything to the public that was found to be unreliable from the assembly line?

Sometimes there are defects, but then they will issue a recall and fix it.
