i have a permanet restraining order aganist my husband, i want to remove it.... i live in the state of new jersey, will they give me trouble to remove it? or can i just say i want it off...... ?? i'm going tomorrow to court to remove it.... they wanted to send me and my huband on some evaluations if i drop the restrianing order will those evaluations be dropped also....? what are my rights in doing this? what will they ask me? what questions should i perpare myself for?

This is NOT legal advice and I work in Family Court in Delaware, so there may be some differences. You have the right to remove the restraining order, since you are the one who requested it. If you TOTALLY drop the order, the order for evaluations will also be dropped. If you merely MODIFY the order (take away the "stay away" part or something like that), the rest of the order will stay in place. They will probably ask you if you are doing this of your own free will and not under coercion. Good luck!!

Why remove it? you can find any dude to take his place and treat you badly. Enjoy a different face for the rest of your life. 99% of the time dudes do not change and you will regret what you have done. Oh and if you do get a large VERY LARGE life insurance policy.
