i need to know the relevance between the similarities between the U.S. and Italian cultures?

I'm Italian and I can tell you what my culture is like but unfortunately I've never been to the USA so I can't compare mine with yours.by the way I just think there are a lot of similarities.Here in Italy it's said that we are becoming Americans in the way of living,plenty of fast foods everywhere,use of the English language and many other things.

the u.s. culture and the italian culture are very similar in the way of dress. Most italians like to wear black and gold colors--this is also the number one fashion for americans. Shoes play an important role in both cultures and both cultures prefer pointy toed shoes. Now the next might be a little gross but it is important.....both italians and americans like to pick their nose with the thumb instead of the index finger---most cultures use the pointer.
