Well without doubt it is Bill Gates. This man gets a lot of stick about his wealth etc, but how many people give away the amount he does. I live in Bridlington on the east coast of Yorkshire in England and all the computers in our public library were donated free by the Bill Gates foundation....you dont see Arab oil money spreading that far round the world!

That depends on how you reckon the shares in Microsoft. Bill Gates is worth a lot on paper based on the market price of his Microsoft shares. However, if he tried to sell any quantity, the share price would collapse. On the other hand, the Sultan of Brunei is worth a lot in cash. (Mind you, most of it is in dollars, so he's worth a lot less than he was last week!)
