Get yourself some clear scotch tape and place it on the corners of your eyes. Pull the tape back & this will drawing back the flesh around your eyes giving you the Asian look.

You can contour your eyes using eye make-up. I do it all the time when the mood strikes me.

Anyway, use eyeliner or eyeshadow and make a line, "cat's eye" style and angled upward. Avoid using a lot of makeup underneath your eyes.

For example, I really like using black liquid liner. It may require practice for some, but I find it quite easy to use. Just draw a smooth line from the inner corner of your eye to the outer corner, slowly making the line rise upwards. Next, fill the line in.

It may be hard to explain over the internet, but you could google on "eye makeup contouring" "cat's eye makeup" "liquid liner techniques" for examples and hopefully find pictures or video.

If you don't understand the above explanation, here's another technique I'll try to explain more simply: Line your top lid. Take some dark eyeshadow and smudge it on the outer corner of your eyes. You can clean up the area with a Q-Tip to create a cleaner, more angled look.

Basically you want to uplift the eye by defining the outer and upper corners of your eyelid! So, avoid a lot of dark eyeshadow on the inner corners. It's great to use light, pearly shadow on the inner corners and gradually get darker as you move outward. And apply eyeshadow on the outer edges UPWARD to visually lift the eyes.

Do your makeup on one eye and then compare it with the unmade up eye and see if there is a difference.

Also, you could groom your eyebrows so the ends are slightly lifted up. This gives an "instant facelift" effect and opens the eye area.

In terms of mascara, give the outer lashes an extra coat to emphasize the sexy cat's eye effect.

If all else fails, just keep experimenting when you're bored and have time to kill. Trust me, though, the eye makeup stuff DOES work. I did it one day and my friend said, "Whoa you look so freaking Asian today! Look at your eyes!" Etc. ;)

So, hope this helps. . .I wish I could just SHOW you how to do it instead of trying to explain over the Internet, but I'm sure you'll figure it out!

Peace and good luck!

And, ixnay on the face tape. At most it'll be uncomfortable and, by stretching out the delicate eye area, cause WRINKLES and thus make you age faster. Plus, who wants to go around with. . .FACE. . ..TAPE. . .? :)

I don't understand why you'd want to. Do you know how many asian girls over in Asia get nose surgery so they have an american nose? Most of the models over there who get hired are ones who've had surgery or ones who look like they are a white mix...

For what you want? Trick is all in the makeup. It'll always be harder because your eyelid is different than an asian persons so you'll never actually have asian eyes, This is basically my regime when I want to go for a more exotic look.

Start with the skin, even out the tone.
Apply a bronzer under your upper cheekbones and then also on the apple of your cheeks (I use DiorShow Powder for the bones and apples - two different shades mind you, darker obviously for the bones, then this light irredescent pink for the cheeks). I also top it off with a light dusting over the face with Dior Bronzer.

Now to the eyebrows. Make sure they are defined but not so dark and heavy and gross, you're not felting them in. One of the best tricks I learned was on What Not To Wear from Caridee their makeup artist. Brush the eyebrows DOWN and then you can see where the natural top of your eyebrowns are, lightly just color in that line and then brush your eyebrows back into shape.

Now for the eyes.
For exotic? Keep to natural highlighted colors. Golds, browns and pinks. Under the brow sweep a light shimmery gold tone, same for the inside of your eyelid. then on the outter part of your eyelid do a brown, just at the brow bone - more so like under it - dab a dark brown, then blend it all together, you can always lighten it up with the gold tone again.
As for lining your eyes. I would use a dark eyeliner (black if it works wiht your skintone etc) and line your lashes. On the inside corner of your eyes line, and then move out towards the back corners, try not to make it so thick that your look turns into 60s mod. I use both liner and liquid liner. I put the liner on first and if I really want to make my eyes pop I use a liquid liner in matching shade to go overtop of the liner (basically used as a guide). If it's a night exotic look your'e going for adn you have bigger eyes, line the inside of your bottom lid with black pencil liner. Don't do this however if you have smaller eyes as it will totally just shrink your eyes more. If you do have small eyes, try like a white or even a light golden pencil to line your inside lower lids...

Eyelashes - curl them with a curler, dap the tips of your eyelashes with Diors' Maximeyes mascara, then also apply one coat. Then with Diors' DiorShow Waterproof mascara apply one or two more coats, however many you need to do the eyelashes. I LOVE LOVE LOVE DiorShow mascara because it really does wonders for your lashes, it makes it look like you're wearing fake eyelashes when you're not (in a good way - Jessica Simpson is also a huge fan of this mascara). I also like the Maximeyes mascara because if you're not going for BA-BOOM eyelashes, it really just coats your lashes well and makes them all seperated evenly and nice (it has a square shaped brush which helps with this)

Lips - I see a moist light pink color - like a Dior UltraGloss in #323 A Splash of Peach

I refer to Dior a lot because it's the only makeup I use. It is very pigmented and the shadows and bronzers last forever! It make be more expensive, but it's well worth it.

(that's weird... are you american??? all the asians want to look like americans, and now americans want to look asian...what the hell!?!?!)
i don't think 'face-tape' is the best technique. anyways, liquid eyeliner really helps. Good luck.

ps
Just another piece of advice; you shouldn't try to look asian, just be yourself. that's the best piece of advice i can give you.

No I'm pretty sure you need surgery.... anything else is just fake.... the eyeliner thing might be a good trick... but then you'd just look like an emo...
