Before reading your question, I would have said I want to live forever but now I don't think so.

It's seems selfish, now that I think of it and besides, despite all of the changes taking place in the world daily, I have a feeling at some point, I would become very bored.

I'm glad you asked. I have a new perspective.

Probably not - I may never be able to retire, since the money I'd save would never be able to last forever. It would just be an endless cycle of stress, and worrying about work and taxes. Plus, of course, it would be hard seeing my friends and family die, and I don't think I'd like being a withered old lady for centuries. Imagine what gravity would do to you after 400 years!

I remember a commercial in which a girl says "Why do people have to die?" and the response was, "To make life meaningful". Imagine people toying with death if they knew they could live forever.

If I were to live forever, I imagine myself being wrinkley and feeble minded. I don't think anyone wants to stay in that state for an extremely long time, which is why dying doesn't seem as bad when you're older. It would kind of stink if we were born old and as we got older, appeared more youthful. Anyways, I think it would be better if youth lasted longer so we could experience the good parts of life for more time than we can now, but I wouldn't want to be some old person in a nursing home for the rest of time.

No, it would demoralize the meaning that we have to live life to the fullest. With eternal life, one would lose the grasp on that concept and might frighteningly pose them self as god like. Human life is so precious that with eternal life that gift is lost and lest one wondering what is the point of living? Mainly after you meet many people even those that you love and you will never be with them. It would be depressingly lonely set apart from the rest of the world.

I wouldn't want to live forever, but I would like to know on what happens in the world after I die.
Kind of like being a fly on the wall.

Life is only Act 1 in a much longer play so the answer to your question is "I will live forever."

"I was and I am.
So shall I be to the end of time,
For I am without end."

No, I wouldn't want to live forever because it seems that this world is headed on a collision course with itself as well as others.
