The baby usually achieves the head-down position around 34-36wks. However, Some babies move out of this position randomly.

In the last trimester is when they should be getting ready for the birth and stay head down. With my first baby he was in the breach position, head was up instead, since i was young they didn't want to do a c-section so they turned the baby, yes with their hands on my belly, hurt like hell but was worth it. Most babies are head down though.

some babies go head down but doesnt stay that way
