I'm not sure about the tattoos, but if you want to get piercings, try getting your bellybutton pierced. I really think the more natural you look, the better. No tattoos or piercings on your face. That would draw attention away from your beauty and towards your piercings. Instead of piercings and tattoos try this:
1. Go for a new hairstyle and color.
2. Get your nails done with lots of pretty designs.
3. Cover up most of the flaws you see (the best you can) because people pay attention to the little things.
(Example: yellow teeth : teeth whitener, strech marks/uneven skin tone : cocoa butter, dry feet : lotion, and other small details we sometimes overlook.)
Anyways, good luck!
PS
you'll go to hell for mutilating your body with piercings...
that's just one more reason not to do it.

Hmm... Remember, if you get a piercing and decide you don't like it for the rest of your life, know that you will always have a scar to remind you. A tattoo is the same, except evidence can be wiped clean via an expensive laser operation.
Now that I have gotten through the technicality of the subject, let's move on. Well, it would seem obvious to be that you have to be quite the looker to get into a beauty pageant, so if there were any alterations that you are looking for, then here's some advice.
Both ears and one nose piercing, and for beauty pageant material, make sure they remain 16 gauge or 14 gauge. For the nose, instead of having a hoop, make it a little bar in which the viewable piercing "head", faut de meaux, can be changed to match the particular dress or outfit your are wearing.
Be careful, though. Some people get piercings but end up being allergic to metal, so if you aren't, then by all means, have fun and good luck in the future.

I've done pageants as a teen and judged them as an adult. I think pierced ears are fine, but any other piercings don't really go along with that clean image that should be portrayed. Also, if you want a tattoo, you should get one that can easily be covered up by your clothing.
However, if you're not going to participate in the pageants, then I guess you can do whatever you want.
I wouldn't let my teenage daughter get anything, other than her ears, pierced or a tattoo. Sometimes when we are teens, we have different ideas than we do when we are grown, and piercings and ink mark your body for the rest of your life. So, don't do anything you may regret years down the road.

Well since you aren't even interested in participating in pageants, does it even matter if you have piercings and tats? To do either one as has been said before is permanent and should be considered no matter what your final "look" ends up to be. I would say this also, remember that you may want to be a pageant queen today and Donna reed tomorrow so when thinking of permanent alterations to your body, make sure that they will be able to transition as your sense of style changes. It sounds like you are going for a very high class well groomed look so just keep it tasteful no matter what you do and you should be all good. Lastly, good luck to you in your weight loss efforts. I have a sneaky suspicion that you just might see that you are beautiful exactly the way you are and the rest is ultimately meaningless.

if you are going for a beauty pageant look i wouldnt say piercings would work, well, not facially anyway. Ears and bellybutton are ok but those girls tend to have quite a clean cut, natural beauty look and i dont think facial piercings would work well with that. If you want a tattoo that would be fine somewhere it could be covered, but i wouldnt go for the back of the neck as that would show when your hair was up and again i dont think that would help create te sort of look you're trying to achieve. keep it feminine

Most pageants girls I'm sure still have belly piercings, as for the ones that are visible no. Tongue rings you could get away with. As for tattoos again nothing visible, maybe the hip on the part a swim suit covers or something like that.

I don't think you have to be a certain height to be in a beauty pagent. I think all girls short or tall are beautiful.

they are OK! but you will pro tray a different sort of appearance. And that might hinder you from winning. Imagine you as a judge would you like to see 10 piercing all over a contestant.?
and weight is an issue if you want to become a pageant queen but... there are like a zillion types of pageant. pick the right one which not all girls are stick figure

Beauty queens aren't full of holes and covered in tatts. Ears are fine, probably even expected but if you really want to be in a pageant, hold off on getting the other piercings and the tatt because the judges will frown down on you for them.

Well, the ears would definatley be ok. Belly button would be ok, and also possbilly your nose, but I wouldn't really suggest it. I wouln't get the tattoo, at least not where you want it. Try going for eyeshadows that are natural to your eyes and skin color.( This is coming from a pageant girl herself.)
