An aerial view of the Taj Mahal alias Tejo Mahalaya, ancient Hindu temple complex in Agra. For the last 300 years the world has been fooled to believe that this stupendous edifice was built by the 5th generation Mogul emperor Shahjahan to commemorate one of his dead wives--Mumtaz. The two flanking buildings although identical, only the one in the rear is known as a mosque.

The Taj Mahal has seven stories. Five of them lie sealed and barred concealing rich evidence. The marble building in the centre is flanked by two symmetrical ones. The one in the foreground is the eastern one. The one in the background is being represented as a mosque because it is to the west. They should not have been identical if only one was to be a mosque. In the courtyard at the foot of the eastern building is inlaid a full scale replica of the trident pinnacle [found at the top of the dome]. The tiny tower at the left near the western building, encloses a huge octagonal multi-storied well.

Vedic means Hindu.

This was a Shiva Temple and has loads of evidence of it having built as this.

The hoax that it's built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife will be exposed when the evidence is presented to the UN. Till then the Indian Government will keep squeezing every cent from the tourist industry, pretending it's a romantic place.

Who would visit it if it was just an old Hindu Temple?

Can 'brahmanyan' show any evidence apart from hearsay.

Shame people DO NOT READ the question and jump to expressing an opinion.

This website has scientific and photographic evidence but the Government of India has vested interest in promoting it as a romantic place and earn tourist dollars. It would also upset the Muslims in India. The Tejo Mahalaya was built on the bank of Jamna River as it's a stone throw from the birth place of Hindu God Lord Krishna. A place called Mathura. The Tejo Mahalaya was originally dedicated to Lord Shiva. Those familiar with Hinduism will appreciate the friendship of Lord Krishna (an incarnation of Vishnu) and Lord Shiva.
Why are five stories kept locked even from Historians and Archaeologists?
The hexagonal well was used, while the place was a Hindu temple to hide the valuables, which were just thrown down the well when the place came under attack as it did so often by the Muslims. The Hindus lost all as no temple had armed guard.
Even today no Hindu temple has real defence against an armed attack.
Does it matter that the body of Mumtaz is kept in a Hindu temple? To the Hindus it does not matter.
The Muslims just have to search their souls about the doubt cast on the present belief that the place was built by Shah Jahan as a burial place.

No I do not think Taj Mahal was a Vedic Temple. In Vedic period there were no Temples. Temple worship came into Hindu Religion very much later. There were some claims that Taj Mahal was built in an old Palace area of Rajput Kings. Taj Mahal is not a Mosque either. It is a mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan on the tomb of his beloved wife Arjumand Bano Begum better known as Mumtaz Begum.
