well Return to Sender went to No.1 on Nov 1962. Not sure if it was still there at xmas though as Cliff was number 1 in December with AA side The Next Time / Bachelor Boy

the top hit on Christmas from DEC22 1962 -----Jan 11 1963
was telstar by the tornado's elvis was number one from april 21---may 4th with good luck charm but my guess thou would be return to sender
