According to a recent poll by African Response, 73% of South Africans love the logo. I think the design is really good... Those who criticize the logo think the design is too 'busy'. I disagree... With all the different colors, the logo represents the diversity Africa and especially South Africa has to offer.

Yo, Diesel!

I don't like the logo. Sorry, guys! It just doesn't say: "Whoo hoo!" I really thought that it would be more creative. I think there's something missing or lacking. It's just ok for me. We as South Africans need to be more creative and this is just the kind of thing we can use to show off our creativity. South Africa is not just another country. We are the greatest nation there is, so we need to show how FANTASTIC we are. When you look at the logo, what do you think? I saw it for the first time and said...ok. When you look at it, you need to go: "Oh, my god! South Africa 2010! Whoo hoo!"

And the Bushmen (San figure) kicking the ball? What's that all about? South Africans need to move away from this kind of imagery. It worked for a while, but not anymore. I'm really disappointed. I feel that this could have been an excellent chance to show off SA, but sadly it isn't.

And the colors seem so dull. The Rainbow Nation prides itself on being the most beautiful country in the world and yet we present our own colors so dull as if we ran out of paint and can't brighten it up! The colors should inspire. But here it doesn't. And why did they use the color orange in the logo? The colors remind me of the former National Flag.

I am not impressed. In fact, I'm extremely disappointed.

Mmmm, Diesel I don't know. I've got mixed feelings about the logo. If it was a tournament for schoolchildren I'd say yes go for it. But this is professional soccer players coming to South Africa.

Yes the idea of bringing in some colors is great, but the caveman kicking the ball???? No, I don't like it.

The logo doesn't look professional. It isn't creative!!!! I should have known that it would be something like this. No, no no!!! It makes me think of Arive Alive's logo!

I like the fact that it includes the whole continent, it shows that all of Africa can unite, and that this is the first football world cup in Africa.
Also the little man is very much like a bushman cave drawing.
To me it just shouts "Africa".
I love it.
