My classmate's coming to my house for the first time and my house is in the pits!?
she's not my frnd but classmate.her parents had sum work with my parents though they'll also be meeting for the first time. my house is good but nowadays its undergoing renovation and its all dirty everywhere.i'm so tense. wht will they all think. i mean they are high strata people

try to clean up one area nicely,,,, to entertain in,,, it could be your room,, for you and your classmates,,,, then maybe also the living room or someplace for your parents,,,, people should be understanding about renovations,,,, you can also try your best to dust, pick up litter etc,,,
ps: always clean one bathroom for quest to use! if its dirty, it will give a bad impression,,,,

Start cleaning....especially the high traffic areas where your guests will see such as the bathroom and kitchen.
Since your house is under renovation, there are probably areas where you won't be able to do too much tidying. Simply say "Sorry for the mess, we are renovating and it seems to be taking longer than we expected." If they are nice, they will understand, otherwise phooey on them...who cares what rude people think anyway?

Don't worry about her being high strata. Doing renovations means that your family is keeping up with the Joneses and she should approve of that. If she seems snobby at first, ask her opinion for a paint color or something. It's amazing how a person's tune will change when they feel important. Good luck and don't stress.

first the thing is it is in renovation so it really isn't you fault. if you want to make it look good try to find a part of the house that isn't terrible and if the look at it weird just explain why the house looks like that they'll more than likely understand the circumstances and everything will go fine. don't let it bother you

Relax. If it is undergoing renovation, then it will of course be somewhat messy. The mess from renovating is not really under your control or your fault. Your visitors will see that your family values their home because they are fixing it up. Just be warm and friendly, and maybe if necessary go out for dinner. Blessings.

that's easy CLEAN it up and stop complaining. I'm sure they will understand who wouldn't look yr house is being renovated and there is no way it is not going 2 be in a mess.

sounds like you need to clean up some. just do one area at a time and try to recruit some friends to help.
