we people as a society are afraid of the truth. So we lie to avoid anything that could actually force us to comfront our true feelings.
I do not think it is possible to live without lying, but i do believe that everything is woth at least the effort.

I don't lie anymore. I did when I was little to try and avoid punishment for when I messed up but now I realize that punishment is not so bad and if I do something wrong, it should have a negative response from others. So yes, it is possible to live without telling lies. It's actually a relief to no longer have the stress of keeping the truth from others.

its impossible to live without telling a lie in some form, for example you may say some you think to be correct but is actually wrong

but generally people lie for 3 main reasons
1) to have a laugh at some one else (often harmless fun)
2) to hide the truth about some thing that may damage you or some one you care about
3) for further self advancement

Yes it is possible to live without telling lies. If it doesn't bother you what people think about you. If you are very self disciplined, and aren't worried about hurting others feelings. Being honest is much harder than lying. But I strongly suggest living the honest life.

We lie for several reasons..The important reason, is to avoid consequences for undesired actions or deeds.
Also we lie to avoid confrontation or to avoid hurting someone else, or just to avoid an awkward situation. Also a form of lying can be used to make a story a bit more interesting or more beleivable, or just show someone in a better light.

Lying can be good, bad, or inconsequential.

I don't think it is possible to live without telling lies and the reason why we do is for many factors... maybe not to hurt someones feelings, to better ourselves in lives, or being ashamed for things we did... to many things to name

Don't get me wrong I tell lies, but I think it's possible to not tell lies. I think we tell lies out of pride.

I think we lie because the truth hurts, so we lie to protect ourselves but by lying to your loved ones hurts them even more because they are apart of you, and why hurt them. I ve lied as a kid and a teenager and many times as an adult. I m ashamed of my lies the ones I ve been caught in and the ones I ve haven t got caught in.

We lie because we feel the need to do so. Usually it is linked to self-eseteem, either your own or that of whoever you are lying to.

It is extremwely hard to never lie because of the nature of the reasons that push people to lie.

I don't think so. we often lie to protect our reputation or to cover up our mistakes, which is wrong. But sometimes, we need to lie to avoid unpleasant arguments and breakups and stuff. If we don't lie under such circumstances, we would end up ruining our own as well as others' relationships.
