Yup! Both sides of my family, are French through immigration from France to Canada, and then New England. Family members on both sides have traced the genealogy all the way back to the Black Plague! I'm told that my grandfather on my mother's side spoke French fluently and was a member of the local French Club, and on my dad's side, my great grandparents spoke French fluently, and were from Canada (from what I can remember).
