Of course it's not been proven that it's actual "pain" but plants send out huge electromagnetic waves (at least if I remember correctly it's electromagnetic, anyway it's some sort of wave) when they have a branch cut or are plucked and it's akin to the same sort of signal animals send out when they are cut or injured. How do vegans deal with this? How do vegans deal with the fact that those huge mechanical crop harvesters can cut small mammal populations in half because they get caught up in the blades? Just because a crop is organic doesn't mean it's not harvested by these machines.

Aww, poor bitter Natalia. I'm a vegetarian! I just don't practice my diet based on empty morals. But thanks for jumping to conclusions =)

Smuggler: Eat all the veggies you want, just don't do it on the pillar that you're "alleviating cruelty" or whatever.

One more thing vegans. Instead of just throwing empty insults at me and getting incensed (because I've clearly touched a nerve) how about hmm actually answering my questions? Hey what a concept.

(I think you are very funny and appreciate your questions)

what if we just wait until they (plants or animals) die of natural causes?

would that be okay?

I'm just conjecturing....

it doesn't really bother me one way or the other.

In answer to your question, I am not a vegan, but I would think you have to reconcile the 'fact' by the reality that if you don't eat whether it is animal or vegetable, you will die...

Apparently you have incited the masses yet again. It seems you are either Socrates or Himmler... which one of those met with a good end again?

I don't think reconciliation is a big concern for a vegan. Remember, they have to eat, too!!!!!
