boobs. No longer are they bud like, but more butt like. However, why is it that bra manufacturers still insist on making bras for the fuller figger with awful thick straps anyone would think I wanted to hang myself instead of holding up my boobs.
Girls is there help out there in the way of faminine bras for the fuller figure that have thin straps instead of holster straps?.

These answers are just brilliant and I would like to thank you all so very much for them. However, I have to choose my lady from Evans as this is a UK store so much simpler in terms of convenience. Neverthe less I will look at other sites and shops.
Once again thanks and Happy Christmas to you all.

Hi there, I work for Evans and you are right most bras which come in delivery are thick strapped and frumpy- until a few weeks ago when we started to receive sexy nad pretty feminine bras. for example balcony bras and multiway bras. With thin straps and pretty designs. Hopes this helps.

Not having the Smallest chest in the world, I understand your situation totally!! For years if I wanted a bra I had to get some sort of surgical truss for M&S! However, things seem to have got better; places like Bravissamo and even Marks now make pretty bras for the larger busted lady. I tend to get most of my bras from La Senza though. The straps are still fairly thick (they have to be to be fully supportive), but I often find the ones in La Senza at least are prettied up; so although the straps are thickish, they are at least pretty and look nice. If you can wait a while, La Senza normally have a great sale after Christmas and I get most of my bras then.

In the US there is a company called Frederick's of Hollywood. They make some "sexy" bras with moderately thin straps for us girls with larger curves. The "extended sizing" starts in the 34 band (I THINK) and cups up to F (DDD in other brands) in many styles. I like to try my bras on before buying, so the stores they have in some malls are very nice for me. The website is www.fredericks.com
Lunaire also makes some pretty bras in larger cup sizes (with matching panties!!). These can be found in some of the nicer department stores.
If you are fairly confident about your size and don't mind shopping online I agree with the people recommending www.bravissimo.com The web site has a very nice selection - including clothing designed to flatter fuller tops too. I've not tried to return anything to them, but I've heard they are easy to deal with if you need to exchange.

it is possible to get good support without thick straps. Good bras don't support from the straps anyway but from the cups. I suggest that you go for a balcony style. They have pretty solid support in the cuffs and because of this often have thinner straps.
Figleaves.com and Bravissimo.co.uk have good selections.

Well I think they have thicker straps because they have to hold you up. You could try 'Sloggi' bras they're a bit thinner but if you're bigger you will need thicker straps to hold you up and give you a proper cleavage.

Hey You look familiar! Next time you go to market, buy some bricks. Have a go at building a little wall on a wheeled trolley, just the right size to push around. Build it up to where you would like your boobs to sit and rest them on it. But do be aware of the big bad wolf, he might come and try taking your support away. Ya muppet.

It's all a question of engineering. If the straps don't spread the load, they'd cut your shoulders off.
