In some situations we should. For example in Africa, we are one of the only countries with enough money and man power to help put a stop to the civil war they are having. We are one of the few countries with enough money to help them fight the AIDS epidemic they are having. We were also a huge help after the tsunami, whether they appreciated it or not (more of a help then we were to our own during Katrina and Rita)… Also, if we didn’t fight the wars that need to be fought on foreign soil they would happen on ours. Sad but true…
P.S. This is going to be a touchy subject isn't it? Why can't we have a healthy debate on here???

They should learn to mind their own business. They let the Allies do all the dirty work in both wars and refused to enter until they were blown out of the water then take the credit for winning both
wars. Now they butt into every little nation's business and expect
the rest of the world to follow them on their wild crusades to save the rest of the world and anybody who refuses will be punished by George W. Give me a break.

Yes, the US should intervene in foreign affairs, to keep them from intervening in ours.

definitely NOT! during war in Kosovo you tested some biological weapons or poison in Yugoslavia which made leaves on trees black for a few years and many young people (including my cousin) are dying of heart complications. Thats your "help" ! i wonder wether you, Americans know what your government is REALLY doing!
