Pretty normal so don't worry. I too am on the chunky side and I didn't feel my son until about 6 1/2 months when I definatly knew it was him and not gas! Everyone is different.
Also, once I did feel him move, he didn't move often at all, sometimes hours would go by and I didn't notice him. I would get majorly freaked out but every baby is different.
Hope this helps!

Im kinda on the heavy side too. I didnt feel my baby move till about 25 weeks I think it was. I felt wierd things going on in there but never "good" movement. My baby had the hiccups all the time I felt that often, so that was pretty cool. Good luck and congrats. Dont worry you will be feeling some movement soon!

you should have no need to worry if your doctor is not concerned it shows that you probably have nothing to worry about. But just in case you still are not satisfied i recommend that you see a doctor and do an ultrasound. that's the best i can say. and 19 weeks is really too early to tell. i hope everything works out well. and you have a beautiful baby when the time comes. Good luck!!!

I am 18 weeks and 2 days and I haven't felt any movement either and its my first. I have been told by loads of people that it differs and when its your first you don't even know what it is. It may be moving while you're sleeping so you may not be aware of it.
Don't worry, I'm not. As long as heartbeat is ok thats all that matters.
Your due date must be very close to mine, if you ever want to chat or compare notes email me, it will be nice to chat.

You probably have but just don't recognize it....I used to feel little flutters but really didn't pay to much attention to it because it happened so fast....I don't remember the exact week I REALLY felt the baby move where I could tell he was moving.....but it was identifiable that's for sure. Don't worry, you will feel it soon enough....And soon you will feel so much of it, you will be so anxious for that little baby to pop out!!!! Just enjoy your pregnancy and don't rush it.

It take's longer for a heavier person to feel the baby move. It all depends on how your body is shaped. Congrats on becoming a mommy and don't worry you'll feel movement soon and at times you'll wish it would stop. lol.

women who are the heavy side may may experience the movement until 22 or 23 weeks. I know because a close friend of mine had the same worry you did so she talked to her doctor.

i was about six or seven months before feeling movement, I don't think you have anything to worry about right now as long as you hear the heartbeat at your dr. appt.
